Lifestyle services focus on supporting each person to attain the highest possible quality of life through engagement in all day to day aspects of living. Disability Services Australia provides individual, drop-in and shared support from as little as four hours a week through to 24/7
Community Participation and Transition to Work services provide each person with the opportunity to gain new skills, enhance existing skills and engage in a variety of valued life roles in their community
Specialist Intervention Service offers families supporting a person with a disability who has complex and/or problem behaviours access to a team of dedicated and experienced behavioural specialists (psychologists).
Four factory sites where we employ people with a disability to undertake manufacturing, packaging and assembly work.
A labour outplacement service where we host employees in company sites
Supported and open employment services where we assist people with a disability find, get and keep the job they want
An employment service specifically for people with a mental illness

Community Support Services Career Opportunities
Due to ongoing growth, DSA is continuing to recruit direct Support Workers to join our Community Support Services teams in the greater Sydney area, the Southern Highlands, and Queanbeyan.
Working in Community Support Services involves great variety - no two days are ever the same. You may do everything from supporting a person with a disability to cook a meal, develop a new skill, prepare for work, assist with personal care, or participate in community activities.
Lifestyle Support Workers
Lifestyle Support Workers provide assistance to people with intellectual and multiple disabilities in their own homes and communities, with a focus on assisting individuals:
With daily living activities
To achieve their goals
To access and participate in the community
To be a Lifestyle Support Worker, you must be able to to work as part of a 7 day roster, including evening, sleepover and weekend shifts (additional allowances and loadings apply), excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a current drivers licence & car, first aid certificate (or a willingness to obtain one) and the ability to be a team player. Experience providing personal care is desirable.
